Experience nature at its most dramatic in the Hohe (High) Tauern National Park. Over one million
visitors pass over the Grossglockner high alpine road between May and November every year it is thus one of the most visited tourist attractions in Austria

The road was hand-built within the space of five summers in the 1930s.
